Welcome to Chyrond
Set in the beautiful Cornish village of Veryan in the Roseland Peninsula, Chyrond Roundhouse is a Cornwall Holiday Cottage that is a short walk from the National Trust south coastal path and beaches. It is one of the four thatched roundhouses built by the Reverend Trist for his daughters in the early part of the 19th century.
Stories abound about the reasons for the cottages being round and why four of them are set at the village boundaries. What is certain is that Chyrond has a very warm welcoming feel.
Having been in the family for many years, Chyrond has been a place that our children have been fortunate to grow up with and now all of our grandchildren are coming to experience and love Chyrond.
The cottage caters for families, couples and also those of us who have canine companions. Chyrond has a secure dog run area for those afternoon dog naps after a long beach walk in the morning.
With the capability to sleep 6 people across 3 bedrooms (including a new attic room accessible by ladder stairs; there is still a bed settee if you want to squeeze more!) Chyrond is also a place for groups of friends to get together, enjoy the walks, beaches, food and of course the local beers, ciders and wine. We have now installed wifi so, if you need, you can keep connected.
If you are looking for a Cornwall Holiday Cottage for a relaxing break, Chyrond will be perfect for you.
