How to find Chyrond

Nestled in the village of Veryan, Chyrond is located up a short hill from the village centre. Easy walking distance to the local shop and the pub.

Walk the other direction out of the cottage and you leave the village within 5 minutes and a further 5 minute walk you are peering down a field lined valley towards the beach of Carne.

The public footpath through the valley is a picturesque 10 minute walk to Carne car park and fronts on to the beach.

In surrounding villages a further good selection of pubs and beaches are to be found. Sailing and windsurfing is also available.  There is a great variety of coastal and other walks and the National Trust garden of Trelissick is half an hour away over the King Harry Ferry.

Within an hour’s drive from the cottage there are many attractions of various types including theme parks, seal sanctuaries etc. The Cathedral city of Truro is twenty minutes by car as is St Austell with its history of china clay working and the Eden Project is also close by. Falmouth is a short ferry ride from St Mawes, itself twenty minutes by car from Veryan.
