Walking in Cornwall in Autumn

Chyrond - Autumn in CornwallSeptember is still genuinely warm and often relatively rain free and just perfect for walking in Cornwall. We have had many warm days on the beach in the October half term holidays.

The changing colours in the woods near Trelissick with our dogs seeking out what’s fun, will make up for anything! But if something is still needed, the National Trust tea will do nicely.

It’s a good time of year to visit Lanhydroc with its rich family history.

There are so many good places to go walking in Cornwall near to Veryan. We never tire of the coastal path, the lighthouse at St Anthony’s Head with its the views of St Mawes and Falmouth. It is fun to take the little ferry from St Mawes over to Falmouth. For those who are interested the church of King Charles the Martyr holds a delicious secret.
